12th Annual Summer’s End Corvette Show ~ Saturday August 23 ~ 2008
Friday night Hospitality greeting from 4 pm to 8 pm at the host hotel, Homewood Suites, on west Walnut in Rogers
Friday night theme is a Beach Party, so join us for fun, food, music and a great time. Put on your wildest beach outfit and compete in the 1st Summer’s End Wildest Beach outfit and Wildest Hawaiian Shirt Contest!
You can register Friday night and pickup your show packet, join in snacks, food and soft beverages and cash bar.
Saturday’s event starts 8:00 on 3rd and Elm with registration from 8 ~ Noon and judging from 11 ~ 2. NW Ark Corvette Club member cars will be voted on by visiting registrants.
There will be Door Prizes, 50/50 pot, raffles of some great prizes and more. Thanks to Corvette Quarterly for their donation and the National Corvette Museum for their participation. Other sponsors include Garner Building Supply, Morey Auto Body, Latham Cabinets, The Corvette Crib, Inc., Carla Chastain, RE/MAX in Bentonville, Stevenson’s Paint & Remodeling.
Saturday night the awards presentations will be at a Luau at the Elks Lodge in Rogers, so join us there or meet at the Homewood Suites for a short caravan to the Elks Lodge. A whole Hog and Chicken dinner with all of the Island trimmings will honor the winners. So come join in the presentations, music, fun and socializing. Cost of the dinner is $20 per person with a cash bar available (no coolers or carry-in beverages).
